Do you mean an hour and 30 minutes after you crates her.....or she visibly struggled to poop for that long?



Maybe you didn't look at the link I provided above about putting smaller mesh in bottom of crate?

Yes, after about an hour and 30 minutes when I put her in the crate. She looked to be straining when I checked on her around 1 hour and 30 minutes that she was in the cage, she then pooped while I was checking her.

Well, hopefully a few days and nights in the crate will allow you to observe her intakes and outputs.

When I have a bird that is acting off I isolate bird in a wire cage within the coop for a day or two....so I can closely monitor their intake of food and water, crop function(checking at night and in morning before providing more feed), and their poops. Feel their abdomen, from below vent to between legs, for squishy or hard swelling. Check for external parasites or any other abnormalities.
