Hen strted laying agian...

[Silvester]

One of my hens went broody and we've had seven chicks survive the first 3 or 4 weeks.

This morning se laid an egg for the first time since she starting siting the nest - so sevenish weeks..


Is that a normal time frame?
Is it a sign she is ready to come out of the brooding pen?
Is it a sign she is ready to let the chicks join the flock?

Could it be because we let her and the chicks wander the run yesterday?

I think I've read that a broody hen should be able to go back around sevenish weeks or something like that... :/
