Hen sudden death, should I necroscopy?

Casportpony, could you please tell me what you see in the liver that makes it look diseased? The closest I've been to a standard for chicken livers is the grocery store and those are from young meat chickens, so it didn't look unusual to me other than being small and having those little stones embedded in it, that was very strange to me. Thank you.
 
Until @casportpony responds, I just wanted to say that the liver has splotches on it which along with the liver color, is abnormal. Spots can be a sign of tumors. The stones were most likely gall stones in the ducts of the liver from the gallbladder. There could have been a blood vessel rupture in the gallbladder or liver, causing hemorrhage and the clots.
