Hen swollen in the rear but appears unaffected. Mobile, not lethargic, eating, drinking, walking normal, social. Is it prolapse? Another person told me water belly? What do I do to diagnose and attempt to treat? Any help is appreciated

No, that is not water belly (ascites) or a prolapse. But it is not good. It could be just a heavy accumulation of fat, which can eventually cause fatty liver disease, but more likely it's early stage reproductive infection which will become chronic and kill the hen in the future.

What does her poop look like? That may give us a better idea of what may be going on. And yes, a hen can have a reproductive infection and behave normally for many months before it sickens her to the point of killing her.
