Hen teeters, stumbles, and sometimes falls

Any updates? I think these symptoms could also be coccidiosis.
Yes, unfortunately:

Edit: I had the wrong link:

And why do you think coccidiosis? Answer quickly, because we're thinking it's time to euthanize her. We've been keeping her isolated where we can keep an eye on her, and treat her. She's had moments where she seemed like she might be getting better, but they were short-lived, and she relapsed.

I'm sorry, I should have looked at the original date first to see how long ago you posted. If it was coccidiosis she likely would have succumbed to it by now I think.

I had a chicken present with similar symptoms about 2 weeks ago, and treated her for coccidiosis initially because the vet told me coccidiosis can cause them to stumble around as well. However, my hen then became unable to walk as yours did, still very alert, just sort of falling over and needed propped up and fed wet food like yours.

I took her for her necropsy yesterday. Here's the thread I started. I'm praying you get answers. I'm sorry. :(

Sorry that your pullet is not improving. If you would like to find out what was wrong with her after she is put down, it would be good to contact your state vet to get a necropsy. They can look for brain problems, Mareks, and other possible causes. It is best that they receive the body on a weekday, and the body should be kept cold, but not frozen. Here is a list of state vets to contact for info:

I finally euthanized her, and took her to the state lab here for necropsy. She was riddled with small tumors, so I'm afraid I may have just been torturing her by trying to get her better. :-( The initial diagnosis was Marek's, but the lab results aren't back from pathology, so that hasn't been confirmed. She was vaccinated for Marek's, but evidently that isn't 100% effective.

Sorry that you lost her, but glad that you got the necropsy. Have you had any others show any similar symptoms? Hopefully you won’t. Let us know what the final report shows.

No, everyone seems fine, with the exception of one hen today who is showing signs of coccidiosis. So while not good, seems unrelated. I just ordered some amprolium...

Thank you so much for posting the video. I have a 6 month old Brahma exhibiting similar stumbling "drunken" behavior. It seemed to come on rather suddenly today. I gave her a check and all joints limbs feel good with no reaction when touched. Feet are in great shape, no scabs or lesions. She is alert, eats, holds her head up, eyes alert & clear, poops look normal. I've felt her abdomen and below the vent, and no swollen or firm areas. Crop feels normal. Comb is just starting to pink up as I think she's close to egg laying, but hasn't started yet. Overall, she looks great, but just can't walk without stumbling or falling over. Wish I knew what was wrong to help both our girls. I really hope you have good outcomes for your little speckles.
Hey, Griffey, How did your Brahma fare? Did she survive? If so, what did you do?
