My hen just started winging me like a rooster she's been broody and sat on eggs for almost a month and a half. She's broke now but now she's acting weird. What do I do?

This can be her telling you off as she might still be a little stand-offish after her broodiness. Some hens just need longer to get their hormones back in order.

Growing up on the poultry farm we had one hermaphrodite hen. She really was both. She had a spur on one leg, a slightly larger crown than the other hens, and crowed about once a day. She laid regular - beautiful blue eggs. The one time we let her set on them was a mistake. 13 eggs; 13 chicks. She started killing them off after they were all hatched out. She flipped! We heard the ruckus at the house. I managed to save 3 by the time it took to get out to the chicken house. The 2 little girls were ok, but the baby roo I named Bloody Bones. He healed to a point, but never had feathers or a full crown on his head and one eyelid was stuck up too high & the eye never fully closed. He looked like a little monk. He would have been a ribbon winner if he hadn't been damaged. My dad kept trying to get him to mate, but he refused to go near hens. Third winter he froze to death because he wouldn't cuddle with the others.
