Good Morning,
I have a white rock hen who's walking around dragging her bottom. She'll be 2 in May.
She is quite active, eating & drinking, going after the scratch I put down in the a.m. She has no visible injuries, comb looks good, eyes are clear, no discharges from facial areas. I'm not sure what her droppings look like because I haven't seperated her yet, noticed this yesterday afternoon. Her bottom isn't pasty or anything. Doesn't appear to have an egg bound up.
Was wormed last month I believe. Chickens are in a large fenced area, not sure of the size, but plenty of room if one wanted to lay around or dust bathe by themseves. Their coop is pretty standard.
Thanks for your time & any help will be appreciated.

Might want to seperate her and make sure she is laying okay....if not laying it could be the egg bound issue....just so many different things can or could be going on...sorry I'm not more help...

it's possible she has a soft shelled egg..
when did she last lay an egg?

she could also have EYP..and laying internally..

try giving a crushed Tums in her feed, and some plain yogurt.

Tried the warm bath, no luck. She does feel like there may be an egg bound in there. Thanks for the suggestions. Will let you know what happens.
Pam
