Hen w/ respiratory issues and lost weight

I haven't, would it be tough on her to worm her now?

It might be hard to worm her now when she needs antibiotics. After that she'll need probiotics and then worm. But worms could be contributing to her respiratory distress and sapping all her energy so (head spin) tough call. Dusting her for external parasites with sevin is good except for the dust, maybe a spray? Make sure she doesn't breathe either one. You said she misses food she tries to peck at. It is possible that she is blind at least in one eye (most likely the right) or has very low vision as a result of illness/malabsorbtion.(sp?) This may explain why she doesn't move much or eat unless the bowl is right in front of her. It's pretty easy to check, if you can come from behind and actually touch the chicken's eye, it is blind. I am so sorry your girl feels so bad :( I hope you can save her......

another update. Clairey bear passed away this evening at 8:47. poor girl :( thank you for all your help everyone

I know you lost your girl I last an entire flock last year to what seems to be the same thing. When I tried again after I moved the same thing happened, come to find out these stupid city pigeons caused it. If it happens to you again my best results have come from water solution of oxytetracycline 1 tsp per gal of water if you catch it early, and if advanced combine with injections of penicillin which is difficult to find a muscle but it will soak in if you can only inject it under the skin, though not ideal but I'm having to do that right now on 20 chickens, not fun I'm losing with my cream legbar rooster but everyone else is doing pretty good. Just to help you if it happens again.
