Hen wandering too much!

Put barriers around the traps and poison stations.
Milk crates come to mind first...rodents can get in but not chickens...not sure how many traps and bait stations you have tho.
Are there stations for snail poison? I don't think it will be as likely to kill snails if it isn't placed at the base of the plants that the snails are attacking, will it? I have never used rodent poison because I don't want my chickens to find and eat poisoned mice.
I will pursue the idea of getting milk crates; that sounds as though it might help.

Take up the poisons and traps and then think about how to keep your hen from wandering.
Yes, I have now deactivated all of my kill traps in the immediate vicinity of where my hen went. They are a necessity because in addition to rats, they sometimes catch hedgehogs (which can kill hens of all sizes) and there was one time when a stoat was detected on one of my property's security cameras, which is why some of my traps are inside wooden boxes with an egg.

Oh, I missed that the poison was for snails, not rodents.
There are snail traps that sink into the ground and have covers.
