Hen wanderlust??

[I have WHAT in my yard?]

Does the presence of their roo change their wandering behavior??

My flock free ranges much of the afternoons (after everyone pays the rent.) But, recently they have started going farther and farther afield! Like acres away from their coop and usual roaming area. When I locked the rooster up the ladies took off. I found them better than three acres away!

How can I encourage them to stay closer??

mein are doing the same too, some times I try to let them come back when they see the treats in my hands.
