Hen went to lay then got scared off. Laying in 2nd area already.

My girl is new to laying. She's skittish. She was laying in the coop. Then got scared and went to her old coop yhat was temperary.
I thought about closing it off but I'd rather her be in there then in the woods.
This morning she got scared off before laying in her new area. (Laying is new to her anyways)
So she ran off and hasn't come back. It is 11 am.
What happens now? Will she get egg bound?
Don't they lay in the morning?
Will she ever lay back in the big coop?

You need to confine them if you want them to lay in a certain area. They will lay throughout the day. Eggs take approximately 26 hours to create, so each egg will be later each day until it rolls over to the next morning. Hard to say if your hen will return. Predators can snatch them if that's a problem in your area. Hopefully she comes back by dusk.
