I bought some Oxytetracycline powder. All feed stores are closed on Sunday except for one, which just so happened to be out of Tylan.
It also says to give her 200-400mg/gal of meds for Infectious Synovitis caused by Mycoplasma synoviae
400-800mg/gal for CRD and airsac infection caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and E. coli OR fowl cholera caused by Pasteurella multocida.
So, should I be giving her the dosage for a chronic respiratory disease (CDR)??
I ended up giving her 1 1/2 tbsp, which was a little more than I was going to give her originally, unfortuantely though, she did not make it.Give the highest concentration on the label, which is the 800 mg dose. In the Durvet brand that is 2 1/2 tablespoonful per gallon of water.
