Just recently one of my hens have died and we thought it was due to egg bound. As I was putting up my chickens for the night I notice one of my hens has something running from her back side. It looks white and clear, almost mucus like. I was not sure if my rooster has gotten ahold of her, or if it is was something medical. The only thing I can seem to find on the internet is “Vent Gleet” and I’m not sure if this is what this is. Any information or help is much needed and appreciated!

Can you take her down and get a good look at her vent and clean her up? You may want to feel for an egg as well.

A rooster wouldn't have done that, there's no penetration with chicken mating.
