Hen will not come out.

We have a RIR that will not come out of the hen house. If she does come out its only for a few seconds because the rooster gets her then she returns to the roost for the remainder of the day. Its been like this for weeks. Is this normal? What can we do to get her to come out with the others?

How many other hens do you have to keep the roo occupied? Have you tried taking her & another hen (or few) and separating her from the roo?

We have 4 other hens. Have not tried seperating them.
