I won't wait as long next time if I ever have a similar problem, that's for sure. Two years with that troublemaker was too much.
I put the two old ones in a roaster last night. Cooked in water with carrots, celery, and parsley at 250 overnight. This morning I added back the bones, along with some other bones and feet, to the roaster. Hoping for some delicious chicken stock. This is my first time using the roaster for this. I do have a big stock pot but I don't have time to babysit it. The crockpot barely holds one bird let alone the veggies.
