Grit for chickens usually says granite grit on the label.

Unfortunately there are unscrupulous companies that are marketing oyster shell grit and crushed limestone grit. If you read the fine print, it says that it shouldn't be fed to cockerels or roosters as the excessive calcium can harm them.
