Hen with Canker! Please help me know what to do to treat it!!

You can get metronidazole at Petsmart, it's sold as API General Cure, It also has praziquatil, but that will be fine. Check the back and make sure it has 250mg metronidazole and 75mg praziquantil. It look like this:

I was able to purchase the API General Cure because I couldn’t find anything else to give my chickens for this Canker. My chicken is a rooster but he’s a “mini” so he’s not going to be the size of a regular chicken. How much would I give him and how do I give it to him because it is a powder packet? I currently have the RX antibiotics in the water.
