Two weeks ago, I got 5 pullets (almost full grown) from a lady I've never bought from before. She said one had been dirty and might be sick, but it was gaining weight and healthy, so we took it. Since we brought it home, it has gotten "dirty" again from the drainage or diarrhea, though otherwise it still looks and acts fine. It has not spread around our flock, which makes me think it's not a virus or bacterial infection, but I could be wrong. Any ideas on what it might be and how to treat it?

i don't know if this is what you are talking about but some of my girls get poopy butts when it's been wet and rainy.

This is by no means expert, but I have had one chicken who has always been slightly more inclined toward diarrhea than the rest. I wonder if it is a heavy worm load?

Could be worms - that would explain why it isn't "catching." I'll treat for that and see what happens, thanks!
