Hen with dry skin, spots all over her, stopped eating (not lice infestacion)

Hello,

we are having problems with this hen, I've never seen something like that. We found her pale and hunched over and proceded to separate her, deworm her, she started to eat again and she is feeling better but her skin is really looking weird. She has brown spots and its really dry, also her eye is a bit swollen, not a lot but a bit.

Does someone recognise what it could be? and the treatment?

I suspect you're dealing with scaly face mites. Ivermectin or Moxidectin will treat them. Provide your bird Vitamin A as well. Here's a link:

I agree it looks like scaly face mites, a tiny parasite. Vaseline petroleum jelly can be used to smother the mites, but I would also use the medication that Dawg53 recommended.
