I have a 2 year old BO who has been larthargic a few days. She was eating and drinking when I held it in front of her, but she barely ate or drank Sunday and has not done either today. Her bottom is hot and I noticed tonight it has a hard area that is red. The area is below and to the left of her vent. Could she be egg bound? She isn't walking and has been sitting for a couple of days. I change her pad out every day as was uncomfortable on hay or straw. She is the smallest of my hens, but has not had problems laying in the past. Any ideas?
