Hen with hole in leg + leg discolouration

The vet's necropsy found that the hen had a deep infection that went right down to the tendon on a part of its leg. It was probably caused by trauma. The hen also had a small screw in its stomach, but that was unrelated to the hen's illness.

I'm not sure. I can only remember being told that it was in the hen's stomach.
