Hen with hot swollen tunmy

I noticed today that my hen has a
Hot swollen tummy and I'm worried she is egg bound what can I do to help her??

You can examine her vent with a lubricated gloved finger to search for an egg. Be gentle and don't break the egg. Then you can put her in a warm bath for 15-20 minutes to see if she will pass it. Feel her abdomen for an egg. Give her some extra calcium (a calcium tablet or Tums, crushhed eggshell, or oystershell.).
