Yesterday a bobcat got into the yard. Luckily the hens were in the coop but it still gave them quite a scare. I noticed that one was limping - not able to put any weight at all on one of her feet. I had initially thought that maybe she had done something to her ankle when running around freaking out because of the bobcat, but after cleaning her feet I noticed black stuff on her foot. I'm afraid that this may be Bumblefoot

That looks like bumblefoot but not from the bobcat attack. You could be right about the frantic injury, especially if you didn't notice the limp the day before. I've had bumblefoot with no limps.
Look for the University of KY method of treating bumblefoot in raptors using CEH ointment. (Calendula, Echinacea, Hypericum)
At any rate, soak it in a warm Epsom salt bath a couple times a day.

Thank you so much!
Where can I buy the CEH ointment?
