Hen with lacerated middle toe

What to do ? Was limping a couple of days ago ... But seemed ok - then this morning notice bleeding cut toe - she was still trying to perch but bleeding freely. I have applied betadine and wrapped with micropore tape with xtra elastoplast to cover and hopefully will bandage will stay put ! Toe quite swollen. Any other suggestions ?

I would keep it wrapped as best you can, keeping out all dirt and water for a while. Maybe apply some neosporin, (without the pain killer). If the wound stays together, it should knit back together in time. Keep it wrapped until it closes.
