Hen with no balance

A few days ago I noticed one of my silkie hens seemed a bit off-balanced. Otherwise she was fine.
The next day she had gotten a bit worse balance-wise, and now was relatively easy to catch, so I brought her inside and gave her food. She ate a decent amount. I noticed that she had lost weight, however.

Over the past two days of being inside she has quickly gotten worse. Though she moved a few meters today (I was out and did not see this happen), she spends most of the time sitting upright with her feet quite far out in front of her. She seems to have little balance, if any, left. From what I have seen, she cannot stand upright. She is still showing interest in eating (though not a lot), passing food (poop is mostly soft but solid to slightly runny), grooming and still is quite reactive.
As it is almost winter here, none of my flock (including this hen) have been laying for about 3 weeks.
I've curled a towel around her to help her sit properly. I am not currently feeling hopeful. Is there anything else I can do for her?

Is this possibly contagious, and is there anything I can do specifically to help prevent spread to the rest of the flock?

(crookneck /limberneck starts out as imbalance...the first link is to Alan Stanfords treatment article for when it is caused by brain inflammation from injury to the head but the vtE/slenium plus the B vitamins and dosages are helpful in almost every other cause of imbalance so please do read this...in particular since your bird is a silkie)
