With all the debris in her feathers I would be checking her over very carefully for bugs.

she was dusting when I noticed it, that's why she's so dirty. I saw no bugs.

today i saw little tiny white bugs crawling on her bare skin, you really need a magnifying glass to see them on her. Mites I assume.


I washed her in Dawn soap and when she was wet it was terrible to see how much hidden damage they did, she looked like a naked little chicken running around.

I bleached her house, spread D.E. everywhere on her and in there. I'll keep putting D.E. and that preen spray on her.


Hopefully I'll see some progress.


I need to give her something to get her iron up, her comb is a little pale.
