I have a hen who lifts her head to breathe, this has been going on for a few weeks and not resolved. Initially I thought it was something caught in her throat? or gape worms? Maybe MG or a respiratory ailment? She's been wormed, she's gone through a round of Denegard for MG, and a round of Avian 4-in-1 just in case, but nothing seems to be helping. I've given her VetRX several times. No help. She's an older Brahma hen, and except for the reedy sound of her breathing, she seems okay. Poop is normal. Could she have lung damage or a tumor? Any suggestions?

Same hen as this one?

Any bloat/swelling or fluid in the abdomen?
When's the last time she laid an egg?

If she's the same hen as the other thread - could she have possibly aspirated fluids when held upside down?
