I was told do not worm unless you are sure exactly what you are treating, as using a worming med that treats one strain when the chicken may have a different strain can create more problems. Different worms require different meds. I know many people here worm regulary, regardless if their flock has worms or not, and I don't want to debate it, I'm just sharing the vet advice I received so you can make an informed decision.
