Hen with runny nose - Safe to eat eggs?

Hi!

Our new Warren started laying a few days ago! Perfect brown eggs!

But the problem is since we got her, she is sneezing, coughing and her nose is runny. Some days its worse, some days its better. Its most likely a respiratory infection and we will treat her eventually.

So until we treat her, we were wondering if the eggs are safe to eat?

The eggs are safe to eat. Once you get her started on medication, ask about the egg withdrawal period for that particular med you'll be using.
