Hen with tail down

I have a Golden Comet hen that has been walking around for a few days with her tail down. Not sure why. She is the only one like this. All of the other hens tails are perked up in the air but this one isn't.

Anyone here know why this may be?

She may have whats called "egg binding" try placing her under a heat light to keep her warm..and to relax her..the egg may be "stuck" inside her ....

how old is the hen?

has the hen been wormed?
if so when? and what was used?

when did she last lay an egg?
has she ever laid a soft shelled egg?
is she walking like a penguin?

feel the vent/belly area for heat or swelling..
check vent for drainage or if you can see an egg...

describe the droppings..color and consistency..

you can try sitting her on a warm towel..microwave can warm the towel..not too hot!
put her in a warm, quiet, dim place for an hour or so..so she can relax..
some people set the hen in a warm bath..
tho, if she is eggbound..it's likely after several days, she'd be dead..
tho she could have a soft shelled egg or some other condition going on..

The hen is 8 months old

All i use is DE (food grade)
Not sure when the last egg was laid by her (we have several chickens)
no she is not walking like a penguin, its just her tail is pointed to the ground instead of the sky

no heat, no swelling, no drainage, droppings look normal

I'll try the heat towel, but even I can't get enough rest
