Hen with tail feathers down?

Yesterday one of my hens was walking around with her tail feathers down and her shoulders a little up. She is a almost two year old BO, eating/drinking fine, pooping fine, talking fine, but did not seem interested in going out(unusual behavior)When I picked her up, I turned her over to check her out and when I writed her I heard what sounded like a little girrgle sound? I separated her for observation, she seems ok, lady at the feed store said to put garlic in her water, did that, any ideas what the tail feathers are a sign of, I have read it here before but can't remember. She did not lay yesterday or as of yet today. Thanks

thats usually a sign something is wrong, but now to figure out what, How does her vent look? is it swollen and pulsing? does she appear swollen in her belly? how about her crop how does it seem hard or soft? is it large in the evening and small in the morning? what do you feed?

crop has emptied, I checked that this AM, abdomen does not seem swollen, vent looks ok. I should now when I get home today if she laid an egg. I plan on giving her a warm bath just incase she is eggbound, boy I hope not, she is such a great hen. I have antibiotics on board if she shows signs of respiratory infection, no eye,nose discharge as of yet, no bad smells.
