Hen With Twisted Neck

I just went to check on my flock and a hen that has been sitting was still in her nest but her neck is twisted making her head upside down. i picked her up and she is unable to walk or twist her neck back correctly. She is unable to eat drink or walk. Yesterday she was just fine. She is around 1 or 2 years old and has always been a good layer. she has been broody for about three months but she ha scontinued to eat and drink well. She is very alert just cant move.

I would guess that since she had a recent bout with broodiness, she has a vitamin deficiency. Get her on vitamins asap and you may need to assist her in drinking to get her on the mend.
