Hen with uncontrolled head twitch

Two of My 3 month old silkies are doing this too... ive been giving them poultry as suggested by a vet group on Facebook but have yet to see any improvement any more info on yalls end its driving crazy

My 2 month old buff silkie does this all the time. She's done it since she was a tiny baby, with no other symptoms and seems to be doing fine and growing as expected.
I have read before it may just be her repositioning her crop, especially if its very full or has something uncomfortable in it.

She doesnt have any other symptoms except for the weird head bobbing. Ill try getting a vid of it if i can catch her in the act. I've seen vids of newcastle disease on youtube but it doesnt seem she has that or gapeworm. Its not like she is shaking her head but its more like.....like she is head banging side to side instead of up and down.
Did you ever resolve what this is from?

I have a chicken that experienced the same exact thing if her crop is full and she is doing the head and neck movement check her crop in the morning. Most likely she has a impactation or disturbance in the crop. If it is still full in the morning that is why. You can try making her vomit some of her food that has been sitting in the crop but remember that can be dangerous.
