(I posted earlier but.. I don't know if I posted enough information.)

I found one if my hen's during feeding in the corner of our fenced in lot.

She has swelling on the side of her head, and she is holding her head sideways. She will not eat, and will not drink hardly. She is very much alert, but she has spells of just standing up with her eyes closed. Her eyes look normal, she can walk. She walks in circles.. some.. she turns her head in all directions.

I took her to the vet, he wasn't forsure what was happening. He said he bet Mereks, but he wasn't sure so he gave us antibiotics..

Her stool is odd looking, I've been forcing hydration.. she barely has ate. I dont want to put down if I dont have too.. but, I've never seen anything like this. :/ needless to say, we have about 30 other chickens with her.. also 25 ducks.. that roam freely in a fence..

Symptoms kinda sound like Newcastle Disease, but they probably point to a lot of other things too. Did the vet offer to do a blood test or anything to try to figure out what the pathogen is (if there is one)?

Newcastle? Well, he checked her neck and such.. typical. He put her on the floor and watched her walk around.. she moves her head around a lot. She just started having spells where she's her normal perky self, then she's like a zombie the next.. but alert.

He instantly said Mereks, but wasn't sure. Didnt offer anything, no tastings besides putting her down and sending her body off.. Which, I kinda thought would be best.. but I would hate to see her suffer.. he gave me antibiotics to give to her, they have helped a little.. she has a knot beside of her cone on her head, and something funky is going on with her eye.. in video shows kinda how she holds her head.. to the side. And her poop is absolutely. Horrid. Horrible smell.

Well, I was reading about Newcastle today, so I hope I just have it on the brain and it isn't actually what she has.

You can read about it here: http://www.poultrydvm.com/condition/newcastle-disease

Here are the symptoms that website gives:

Head tremors, head tilt, twisted neck, uncoordinated, convulsions, circling, muscle spasms, head shaking, unilateral or bilateral, partial or complete leg or wing paralysis, diarrhea, sometimes with blood, respiratory distress, hoarseness, gasping, reduced appetite, lethargy, fluffed up feathers, reduced egg production, abnormal eggs, falling off perch.

I have bolded the ones you mentioned that made me think of Newcastle.

You mentioned she has some kind of growth and swelling on her head. Could we see a good picture of that? Maybe she just has some kind of infection that's messing with her inner ear and putting her off balance or something.
