Welcome !
So sorry about the terrible damage Helene did in your community!
I live in the south east corner of Tennessee and we have been spared from disaster.
I don’t know anything about ducks, quail etc, only chickens. I have a flock of 20 hens and a rooster, all large breeds. Pets with benefits for me. There are threads for every state, I honestly haven’t looked for Tennessee as I’ve only been here for 3 years.
Many knowledgeable poultry keeper

Thank you, it has been such an ordeal that it feels like it was someone else who perserved through the past year. And we are no where finished rebuilding everything yet. With the enormous loss of land, this place now has to take on a new look, purpose, etc. But
i believe it will with more time. Its just really hard with my age also. Southeast Corner, we went to Crossville quite a bit when my daughter was young. She participated in 4H and competed in the horse shows, which were occasionally held there. I really love my chickens and quail. The ducks are easier than the rest to care for (except quail) but also the messiest and stinkiest. Thank you for sharing some about you.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Congratulations on your new flock and I'm glad you were able to move on past such catastrophic flooding.
Thank you! Love your Doberman! We had one for a very long time, a wonderful dog. But we have had Westies ever since our Dobe passed, 40+ years ago

Howdy, :frow and Welcome to Backyard Chickens.

Happy :ya to have you here with us. Enjoy your time here at BYC!

Thanks for joining our community! :celebrate
I have been purchasing fertile eggs online, mostly specific chicken breeds and lots of quail and button quail. If you have any suggestions on a reliable supplier that is very affordable, please let me know. Thank you.
