Hen won't leave nest!

Our girls have been laying now for about 3 weeks, they've been doing great! But for two days now one of our girls won't leave her nesting box. And of course she gets real angry when we go in there. Is this normal? Weather did just recently change to cooler. Just curious if I should leave her in there or remove her, or should I be concerned! All the other girls are normal.

She sounds broody.

Not usual for a pullet to go broody.....They usually will the following spring of their hatch date if at all?
Not all birds go broody...Is she hiding or getting ready to lay an egg...Who knows? I do not think Broody...

Sometimes bird can stay in nest for a long time....and not always leave an egg when they go back out..can drive ya nuts!


Is she staying in nest all day long and all night long?
If so, then she is broody, not many young pullets do go broody, but it is not unprecedented.
