So we brought our little star in cause my husband thought she wasn't acting right...didn't come out of coop all day and she is really cuddly and closing her eyes now as she sits in side on a roost she is buffed out and she almost acts like she is going to vomit or maybe she is just digesting her crop? I. Goin to try and post a video? How cam I post a video

How old is she? Is she eating and drinking? Is there any diarrhea or blood in her droppings? How does her crop feel? Has she ever been wormed? If she is fairly young, she may have coccidiosis if she is puffed up, hunched, not eating, and having diarrhea. Corid (amprollium) is the treatment for that.

Not sure how old maybe about 4 to 6 months she is not laying yet and we got her with 3 other hens and the roosters chase her around alot and always try to hump her. I know she doesn't always cone out of the coop cause she tries to stay away from the roosters. ...the roosters don't do it to any others...we have had her for a few months. ..she is inside with us her poop is kinda watery but color is normal....i took a picture of her cause her eyes are always closed even standing....she talks alot to us when we hold her

Can you get her eyes open with your fingers, or are they stuck together? Dust, mold, and ammonia odors in the coop can cause eye irritation. Some respiratory infections can cause eye drainage. Is she having any noisy breathing or eye or nasal drainage? Is she moving all of her extremities well. Coccidiosis might be a possiblility with her diarrhea, especially if she is puffed up, lethargic, and not eating well. Corid (amprollium, ampromed) is the treatment for that. At least, I would try some vitamins and electrolytes in her water, and consider worming her.

Her eyes are not stuck together. She can open them and does just seems like she just wants to keep them closed. She isn't puffed up really...and her breathing is fine.she never wants to interact with the other hens except the ones that cam with her. I just wonder if she is stressed because of the roosters. We have had her inside with out 2 silkie girls and they interact fine it seems. Is it OK to give her corid anyway just in case?

Corid is very safe since it is not an antibiotic. Corid dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid, or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5 days. Can anything be irritating her eyes though? Maybe some lubricating eye drops would help.

So it has been 2 days and my little star is still is the same....doesn't want to do anything but stay still a f sleep....she eats and drinks fine her vent looks good she closes her eyes but the don't look swollen or pussy.....although her skin on her legs looks very pale but not scaley.....what else can I so other then corid
