Henny+Roo Supply Box

Hey everyone!

It's a monthly subscription for Chickens! You know those fun boxes you can order for yourself and your dogs? I found a company that does this for chickens! I feel like I just found a pot of gold.. I'm not even ashamed.
They have a limited time duck box that I ordered just to see if I want to do a monthly deal with the chicken box, and I was very pleased with this box!

The box contained:
- Duck Eggs Daily, Lisa Steele's book on natural duck keeping. Hardcover.
- 1 lb. of Brewers Yeast
- 8 oz. Calci-worms from Chubby Mealworms
- Handmade wooden duck decoration
- "All You Need is Love and Ducks" steel camp cup
- 3 oz. bag of Henny's Herbs for the nesting box
- "I Love My Ducks" indoor/outdoor decal

While I did love the box, and my ducks and chickens loved it even more. I did find the prices kind of high, however there were many great items that were worth the cost. So, I guess that's just my cheap and broke college student coming out..

Has anyone tried this before? Please tell me about your experience!
Is there anything else similar to this out there?

I just stumbled across these boxes as well. Also one called coop box. This thread is the only one ive seen and seems unanswered so i take your question as a no sadly. So howd your experience? Have you ordered more since your duck box? Thanks

I totally forgot I posted this! Sadly I got no responses from it. I loved the box I got! I haven't gotten any other boxes since. However, it's not for the lack of liking the box, just a lack of money to spend on fun things like this! I have been following what's all in the boxes each month and they have some really great things!

How much do they charge for one box?

It depends on the company. Just google subscription boxes for chickens and there is like 4 or 5. When i purchased my chicken play area it even came with a flyer for a subscription. Anywhere from like 30 to 40 bucks

Their monthly box is $32.95 without a subscription and I think $29 with a subscription.

My friend got her chicken for a few bucks at a feed store, I don't think I'd want to spend that much for it's birthday. She wouldn't either.

The box contains things from supplements, treats, decorations, topical medicine, clothes and jewelry for us to wear. So it's not just for the spoiled poultry.
The more poultry you have, makes the box a little more worth it in my opinion! I do however wish they made a mini box!
