Well, Henrietta (one of my Australorps) died leaving poor Bob (the Australorp rooster) alone. This weekend, we were going to go after church to the man who originally sold us the chickens to buy more. On Saturday, the boys come in all excited saying they had a secret. My husband had taken them and brought home a couple of hens! We now have a Rhode Island and a Golden Comet. The man didn't have any more but said we can get some more in the fall.
