Yes, quite the communicator. My DH says when we put her in the Pen with Willie the Black Orp Roo she did not want to stay in there and talked to him all the way to the fence gate begging to be let back in to her original pen. Would not even take corn. Just kept following and jabbering. He finally gave in and she was happy again. In the mornings she waits at the gate asking to be let out in the yard. In the evenings she ask to be let back in. Will follow you around if she wants anything else. Sweetest thing you have ever seen.

Such personalities they can have! She's a beauty, Julie. I have a black Ameraucana hen who insists on being carried around for part of the day. If you put her down, she runs after you and tugs on your pants to be picked up again. And my splash Ameraucana just chatters and chatters the entire time you hold her. They are so full of life!

they do have personalities. I told DH she is doing me no good not breeding her. She is such a fine hen. A gift from a breeder that has helped me in the past. He lives in Fl.
