Maybe this is a stupid question but do mother hens feed their naturally raised chicks?

They show them how to find food. They lead them to the feeder, waterer, bugs in the garden, etc.

Thanks! So if I let the hens raise their own chicks I will need a separate feeder for the chicks? I know how I can do it. Just wondering.
