Electric fences/netting work wonders to teach canines to respect poultry.

I keep a shock collar on my gsd, he's not allowed to bully my girls. He's super jealous and will charge them whenever I go out to feed them. I call it the equalizer collar.

I free run my dogs on them. They both know what happens if they ignore the 'buzz'. I very rarely have to bip them. They LOVE their collars.
