Is it possible for hens to have spurs. I got a hen (australorp) that looks like she has a spur on one leg. Is that possible ?

Yes it is possible. Many of my hens have spurs, most are just not as big as my rooster's spurs.

I thought they could. I am new to chickens. We got these 2 hens last night and I saw the one with the spur this morning. Thank goodness. Don't need another rooster !!

I thought the same with my first two chickens

One had BIG spurs and was mean to the hen with no spurs, but I checked on here, and both were hens.

All of my Welsummer pullets have spurs (one has spurs that are bigger than the EE cockerel has!) They're more common in some breeds than others but yes, it's absolutely possible.
