Hens are starting to lay eggs on poo board

A few of my hens are laying eggs in a depression they have madein the bedding that is on the poo board, YUCK. I do clean it each weekend but the area they seem to want to lay eggs in is right under where two of the hens perch. So it is very poopy.
They have several nest boxes and also have a small wood hutch that the Easter Egger lays her eggs in. Some of the hens also lay their eggs in the nest boxes. But 3 of them lay on the poo board alot of the time.
I would prefer that they did not lay their eggs in the poop. Any ideas?

I'd take the poo board out for a while, myself.

Yesterday I collected one from the floor in front of the pop door. It's a wonder it was intact. They usually use nest boxes, but sometimes....

Thats a good idea, I guess I will see how well its in there. I am the one who built the poo board, but I dont remember how solid its screwed in.
