Hens attacked by dogs, Lucky in bad shape.

Some dogs got in our yard and attacked our chickens. Lucky got it pretty bad, she is missing a lot of meat on her thigh but still tries to walk, she is eating and drinking. We cleaned her up and put some antibiotic ointment on her. We have her in the house now. Does anyone have any tips on anything else we could do for her?

Keep the wound as clean as you can, watch for infection, make sure she eats and drinks, and give her time. Using puppy pads or towels rather than loose bedding until her wounds are scabbed and dry can help in keeping things cleaner. Wish you best of luck.
