Hey all so this is not my first time with a broody. It is however my first time having hens attack my mama hen after chicks hatched . I supervised a while and quickly intervened. I have the mama and chicks setup in our extra tractor coop hoping see dont touch would help. I let her out for a bit the other day , she hates it in there, again I supervised and they went at her again. This is past pecking , it's full blown attack. I told my hubby she's staying in the tractor and she'll get over it lol . Di now they're safe but why would they do this? She went broody last year and everything went great bo one bothered her or chicks. I also will add they are not messing with the chicks just the mama
