Hens attacking rooster

My friend got a young(4 mos old) RIR roo 3 weeks ago. We put them together but her 3 Orpingtons were badly attacking him. We removed him and put him in a cage next to them for 3 weeks. One of the hens seemed interested so today we put her in with him. She’s not attacking him per se. But he is so stressed! He’s trying to get out of the coop through the bottom corner and keeps hiding his head. What is the deal? We have tried to do everything right but…….what now?

No HER coop is not! After a couple of days trying different things out , we decided to remove the top hen. The rooster went nuts with the neighbors hens! As soon as I took the hen and left he mated with every hen he could find. I’m gonna try and integrate her with my flock. I’ll keep her if at all possible. She is an older hen. My RIR roo is trying to woo her! Sooo sweet! I opened her cage but she is not interested in coming out, I’m setting here keeping an eye on the situation.
