Hens dusting queston??

hi, i have a hen dusting herself in the dirt today, She was kicking a bunch of dirt on her rear end Is this normal? Part of the dusting trait? I have never noticed any bugs on her. Just curious

Totally normal. It's what they do.

Totally normal. It's just how they "bathe". Mine do it at least once a day. I think it deters bugs.

I love watching mine take a dirt bath, they have a few favorite places where they like to do it it's great!
