Hen's earlobe swollen?

My one and only hen Gertie just finished molting, and started looking pretty again, but now I'm a little worried as it seems that her earlobe is swollen or enlarged. It doesn't seem to bother her, and she is okay with me touching it, but it is a lot lighter than the other one (more pink than red) and just kind of puffy. It actually seems a little bit better today, but I'm not sure. Yesterday it was at least twice as big as it should be. She's a RIR, and's she seems totally healthy otherwise. Any suggestions as to why her earlobe might be puffy and swollen?
