Hens eating chick food

[Easter eggers]

I let my 12week olds out with the hens and they have there food in their coop but the hens only want the chick food is this ok because I'm wanting to hatch some of their eggs?

yes its fine...chicks chould be on chick grower now as well

If the feed is medicated - I don't like to eat medicated feed in the eggs.

Also make sure they have some oyster shells on the side if they are going to eat the chick food.

There's no harm in it and I agree with hdowden.
